Odoo ships a major version annually. Modules get rebuilt, reporting gets better, things that needed custom code two years ago now ship as configuration. None of that reaches you automatically.
What usually happens instead: the system goes live, phase two is deferred, and the estate freezes at whatever was configured in month three. Two years later the inventory valuation is still in a spreadsheet, month-end still takes a fortnight, and an upgrade looks frightening because nobody documented the customisation.

Community and Enterprise differ enough that advice written without saying which is usually wrong for one of them. Every article states which it applies to, and which hosting model.
We publish reasons not to buy
Heavy industry-specific compliance, or an organisation already deep in a Microsoft or SAP estate, often makes Odoo the wrong choice. A partner who has never written that down is not a source, they are a brochure.
We don’t quote prices that will age
We explain how Odoo pricing is structured — per-user licensing, hosting, implementation — rather than publishing figures that go stale within a release cycle. A wrong price is worse than no price.

What Is the Odoo Articles Category?

The test for publishing is whether a change would alter what an Odoo user or buyer does next.
Do You Cover Both Odoo Community and Enterprise?
Yes. Community is open source with no licence fee but must be self-hosted and relies on community updates. Enterprise is licensed per user and adds Studio, mobile apps, advanced accounting and official support and upgrades.
