The Gaps Are Different In Every Industry
Every sector loses time, margin or visibility somewhere different. We find where yours does — then build what closes it, and measure what changes.
Tailored AI development, Odoo ERP implementation and data-driven marketing for trading, manufacturing, construction, retail, logistics, real estate, professional services and healthcare across the UAE and GCC.

- Who
- Growth Factors is a Dubai-based technology, business systems and marketing company working across the UAE and GCC.
- Where
- Trading and distribution, manufacturing, construction and contracting, retail and e-commerce, logistics, real estate, professional services, and healthcare clinics.
- What
- Tailored AI agents, Odoo ERP implementation and training, and data-driven marketing — built around each sector’s own processes.
- How Return Is Judged
- A baseline agreed before the build, one primary metric per intervention, instrumented automatically, reviewed at 30, 60 and 90 days.
01 — Why Sector Changes Everything
Same Three Practices. Very Different Problems.
An AI agent for a contractor retrieves variation clauses and routes approvals. The same architecture, built for a distributor, reads supplier invoices in two languages and posts them for review. Neither is a configuration of the other.
Odoo for a manufacturer means routings, work centres and bills of materials. For a property manager it means leases, renewals and owner statements. The platform is shared; almost nothing else is.
And marketing that works for a clinic — where compliance shapes every claim — looks nothing like marketing to a procurement manager comparing three suppliers on specification.
So we don’t lead with the product. We lead with where your sector loses time, margin or visibility, and work backwards from there.
02 — Industries We Serve
Pick a Sector. See the Gap.
Each one below sets out the same three things: where the gap usually sits, what we build to close it, and what should change in the numbers if the work is doing its job.
01 — Industry
Trading & Distribution
Margin lives in the detail — and the detail is usually in a spreadsheet.
Where the Gap Usually Sits
- Quotes priced from memory or a private spreadsheet, so margin varies by whoever answers the phone.
- True stock value only becomes clear at month-end, after the decisions have already been made.
- Supplier invoices, POs and packing lists arrive in mixed formats and two languages, and are re-typed by hand.
What We Build
- An AI agent that reads supplier documents in English and Arabic and posts them into Odoo for approval.
- Odoo Purchase, Inventory and Sales with landed cost, so margin per SKU and per customer is visible live.
- Search and content built for buyers looking for a supplier, not for a brand.
What It Should Show Up As
- Quote turnaround time, measured from enquiry to sent.
- Stock holding value against service level — less cash tied up for the same fill rate.
- Share of supplier documents processed without manual re-keying.
02 — Industry
Manufacturing & Industrial
You can’t improve a cost you only discover after the job has shipped.
Where the Gap Usually Sits
- Production planning lives outside the system that holds the orders.
- Bills of materials and standard costs drift out of date, so quoted cost and actual cost diverge quietly.
- Maintenance is reactive, and downtime is discussed rather than recorded.
What We Build
- Odoo Manufacturing, Quality and Maintenance configured to your routings and work centres.
- An AI agent that answers machine, SOP and specification questions from your own manuals — on the floor, not in a filing cabinet.
- Dashboards for scrap, rework and unplanned downtime, sourced automatically rather than compiled.
What It Should Show Up As
- Quoted cost versus actual cost per job.
- On-time-in-full delivery rate.
- Unplanned downtime hours and scrap rate, trended rather than anecdotal.
03 — Industry
Construction & Contracting
Cost-to-complete is the number that decides whether a project made money.
Where the Gap Usually Sits
- Project cost against budget is known weeks late, when it is too late to act on it.
- Variations and claims are tracked across email threads and site WhatsApp groups.
- Subcontractor certificates and payment applications are assembled manually every month.
What We Build
- Odoo Project, Timesheets, Purchase and Accounting with work-in-progress and cost-to-complete.
- An AI agent that retrieves contract clauses, variation history and correspondence on demand.
- Document routing that sends each approval to the person who actually signs it.
What It Should Show Up As
- Accuracy of cost-to-complete forecasts against final account.
- Variation approval cycle time.
- Retention and receivable ageing, and tender win rate by type of work.
04 — Industry
Retail & E-commerce
Three systems, three different answers to how much stock you have.
Where the Gap Usually Sits
- Store, warehouse and website disagree on availability, so you oversell or over-hold.
- Promotions are run on instinct because contribution margin per line isn’t visible.
- Customer data sits in the POS, the store platform and the ad accounts, and never meets.
What We Build
- Odoo POS, Inventory and eCommerce kept in sync, with one stock truth.
- An AI agent for product data, enrichment and first-line customer queries.
- Full-funnel measurement — GA4, Tag Manager, server-side events — then paid across Google, Meta, TikTok and Snapchat.
What It Should Show Up As
- Stock accuracy between count and system.
- Sell-through and contribution margin per line, not just revenue.
- Blended acquisition cost against contribution margin, and return rate.
05 — Industry
Logistics & Supply Chain
Every phone call asking ‘where is my shipment’ is a system that didn’t answer it first.
Where the Gap Usually Sits
- Job status lives in phone calls and messages rather than in a record anyone can query.
- Proof of delivery is collected on paper and chased at invoicing.
- Billing disputes surface weeks later, without the documents to settle them quickly.
What We Build
- Odoo Inventory, Fleet and Project with a customer-facing portal for status.
- An AI agent that extracts data from bills of lading, delivery notes and customs paperwork.
- Exception alerts that surface the job at risk before the customer calls about it.
What It Should Show Up As
- Days from delivery to invoice raised.
- Value and volume of disputed invoices.
- On-time delivery rate, and admin hours per shipment.
06 — Industry
Real Estate & Property
Portal spend is easy. Knowing which portal produced a signed contract is not.
Where the Gap Usually Sits
- Leads arrive from several portals and campaigns with no attribution to what was actually let or sold.
- Leasing, renewals and cheque handling are administered manually across spreadsheets.
- Owner and landlord reporting takes days to assemble each month.
What We Build
- Odoo CRM, Property, Maintenance and Accounting configured to your leasing and renewal cycle.
- An AI agent for tenancy and contract queries, and first-pass lead qualification.
- End-to-end attribution from portal and campaign through to signed contract.
What It Should Show Up As
- Cost per qualified lead, and cost per signed contract, by source.
- Vacancy days and time-to-let.
- Lease renewal rate and maintenance resolution time.
07 — Industry
Professional Services
Your inventory is hours, and most firms measure it after they’ve spent it.
Where the Gap Usually Sits
- Utilisation is discovered at invoicing rather than managed during the month.
- Scope creep is absorbed rather than billed, because nobody recorded it as it happened.
- Expertise sits with a handful of senior people and is hard for anyone else to reach.
What We Build
- Odoo Project, Timesheets and Invoicing with live utilisation and realisation.
- An AI agent trained on your precedent library, proposals and internal knowledge, with access controls by role.
- Thought-leadership content and search visibility built for how buyers actually research advisers.
What It Should Show Up As
- Billable utilisation and realisation rate.
- Proposal turnaround time.
- Pipeline attributable to organic search and AI-answer visibility.
08 — Industry
Healthcare & Clinics
Administration is where clinical time quietly goes.
Where the Gap Usually Sits
- Insurance claims and resubmissions are handled manually, and rejection reasons aren’t analysed.
- Recall and follow-up depends on whoever remembers.
- Consumables run out or over-order because purchasing isn’t linked to usage.
What We Build
- Odoo for procurement, inventory, HR and finance, alongside your clinical system rather than replacing it.
- An AI agent for internal policy, coding and insurance queries, with strict role-based access and no clinical records unless your governance explicitly permits it.
- Compliant patient acquisition with tracking that respects the sensitivity of the data involved.
What It Should Show Up As
- Claim rejection rate and time to resubmission.
- Consumable stockouts and expiry write-offs.
- Appointment fill rate, and cost per booked consultation.
- Hospitality & F&B
- Education & Training
- Automotive
- Energy Services
- Facilities Management
- Non-Profit
We work in these sectors too. If yours isn’t listed, the first conversation is the same one: where is it breaking, and what would have to change for that to stop.
03 — The Pattern Underneath
Different Sectors. The Same Five Gaps.
After enough engagements, the specifics change but the shape rarely does. These five account for most of the value we find.
- 01Data exists, but it isn’t in a state anyone can decide from.
- 02Two systems hold the same fact and disagree about it.
- 03Knowledge lives with people rather than in something the team can query.
- 04Process performance is invisible until month-end, when it’s already history.
- 05Marketing is measured by activity produced rather than business generated.
04 — How Return Is Measured
A Return You Can Check, Not One We Assert.
Most technology cases are argued with percentages nobody can trace. We’d rather agree what we’re measuring before we build anything, and let the number decide whether it worked.
Baseline First
We record where the number sits today — quote turnaround, stock accuracy, utilisation, cost per qualified lead — before a single thing changes. Without a baseline, any later claim is unverifiable.
One Metric per Build
Each agent, module or campaign is attached to one primary measure it is supposed to move. Not a dashboard of twelve. One, with the others as context.
Instrument It
The number has to come out of the system automatically. If someone has to assemble it in a spreadsheet each month, it will stop being produced by week six.
Review at 30, 60, 90
Three checkpoints, each with a decision attached: continue, adjust, or stop. Work that isn’t moving its metric gets changed rather than defended.
If a number can’t be sourced honestly, we say so — rather than estimating one that sounds better.
05 — Questions People Ask
Before You Get in Touch.
Which Industries Does Growth Factors Work With?
Growth Factors works with trading and distribution, manufacturing, construction and contracting, retail and e-commerce, logistics, real estate and property, professional services, and healthcare clinics across the UAE and GCC. The three practices — tailored AI, Odoo ERP, and data-driven marketing — apply across all of them, but the gaps they close are sector-specific.
Do You Only Work With Large Companies?
No. Most of our work is with small and mid-sized organisations, typically between 10 and 250 people. Smaller organisations often see change faster because decisions move quickly and there are fewer legacy systems to work around.
Can Odoo Handle My Industry?
Odoo covers most operational needs across trading, manufacturing, services, retail, construction and property. Where it does not fit — heavily regulated clinical systems, some specialist compliance requirements, or an existing deep SAP or Microsoft estate — we say so and recommend the alternative rather than forcing a fit.
How Do You Measure Return on Investment for AI or ERP Projects?
We agree a baseline before anything is built, attach one primary metric to each intervention, instrument it so the number is produced automatically rather than compiled by hand, and review at 30, 60 and 90 days. If a number cannot be sourced reliably, we say so instead of estimating one.
Do You Build Industry-Specific AI Agents?
Yes. An agent is built around your documents, terminology, approval chains and edge cases, which makes it inherently specific to your sector and your organisation. A construction agent handling variation clauses and a distribution agent reading supplier invoices share an architecture, not a configuration.
Do You Work Outside the UAE?
Yes. We are based in Dubai and work across the UAE and the wider GCC. Remote delivery is normal for implementation and support, with on-site work where process mapping and training genuinely benefit from being in the room.
