You’re Running 100% of Your Business on 20% of What Odoo Can Do.
Growth Factors implements the rest.
Most Odoo estates end up as an invoicing tool with a CRM bolted on. The modules that would have paid for the project — costing, inventory valuation, automation, real dashboards — sit switched off because nobody mapped the process they belonged to.
- Who
- Growth Factors is an Odoo implementation partner based in Dubai, working across the UAE and GCC.
- What
- Odoo implementation, consulting, customisation, training, process mapping and business automation — plus licensing and ongoing support.
- How
- We map the real process first, configure Odoo around it, customise only where configuration can’t reach, and train on your own data.
- Measured By
- One agreed metric per module — quote turnaround, stock accuracy, days to invoice — baselined before the build and reviewed at 30, 60 and 90 days.
01 — Why Most Odoo Projects Underdeliver
The Licence Isn’t the Investment. The Configuration Is.
Odoo is the same software for everyone. Your competitor can buy the identical licence tomorrow. What separates a system that pays for itself from one that becomes an expensive invoicing tool is entirely in the decisions made during implementation — which processes get mapped, which modules get switched on, and whether anyone measured what changed.
The common failure is quiet. Sales and invoicing go live, everything else is deferred to “phase two”, and phase two never arrives because nobody attached a number to it. Two years later the inventory valuation is still in a spreadsheet and the monthly pack is still assembled by hand.
That’s the gap we work in. Every process you run generates data — a quote, a receipt, an approval, a delivery note. Left unconnected, it’s just record-keeping. Connected properly, each one tells you something you can act on. That’s the whole idea behind the company name, and Odoo is where it becomes practical.
02 — Our Odoo Partnership
What an Odoo Implementation Partner Actually Gets You.
As an official Odoo implementation partner we handle licensing alongside the build, so you’re not managing a subscription in one place and an implementation in another. Your Enterprise licence is paid to Odoo; we make sure the plan matches the hosting and modules you actually need rather than the largest one available.
It also means a support path that escalates. When something is a genuine product issue rather than a configuration one, it goes to Odoo through a partner channel instead of a general queue — and we can tell the difference, which is usually the slower part.
And because Odoo ships a major version every year, we build customisation as separate modules from the start. That is the single decision that determines whether you can upgrade in three years or find yourself stranded on an old version because nobody documented what was changed.
03 — What We Deliver
Odoo Implementation, and the Five Things Around It.
The platform is what you licence. This is what you’re actually buying from a partner — and most engagements combine three or four of them.
01 — Service
Odoo Implementation
The configuration is the easy part. The decisions are not.
End-to-end delivery: data migration, module configuration, integrations, testing against real transactions, and a go-live plan with a rollback path.
When You Need It
- You’re moving off spreadsheets, QuickBooks, Tally or a system nobody maintains any more.
- A previous attempt stalled and the database is half-configured.
- Multi-company, multi-currency or multi-warehouse needs to work from day one.
What You Get
- A live system your team is already using, not a sandbox to migrate into later.
- Migrated data that reconciles against your old closing balances.
- Documentation of every configuration decision and why it was made.
02 — Service
Odoo Consulting
Sometimes the honest answer is fewer modules, not more.
Assessment before commitment: which modules you actually need, which edition and hosting fit, what it will cost to run, and what to phase into year two.
When You Need It
- You’re comparing Odoo against Microsoft Dynamics, SAP Business One, Zoho or Sage.
- Partners have quoted wildly different numbers and you can’t tell why.
- You have Odoo already and suspect you’re using a fraction of it.
What You Get
- A module map tied to your actual processes, phased by payback.
- A clear edition and hosting recommendation with the reasoning shown.
- An honest view of where Odoo is weaker than the alternative.
03 — Service
Odoo Customisation
Customise where it earns its keep. Configure everywhere else.
Custom modules, fields, workflows, reports and approval logic — built as proper modules so they survive version upgrades rather than breaking at the next release.
When You Need It
- A core process genuinely doesn’t map to standard Odoo.
- Local compliance or reporting requires a format Odoo doesn’t ship.
- You’ve inherited customisation nobody documented and upgrades now fail.
What You Get
- Custom code kept separate from core, so upgrades stay possible.
- Documentation of what was customised and what it depends on.
- A push back whenever configuration would have done the job.
04 — Service
Odoo Training
Adoption is the whole return. Everything else is setup.
Role-based training delivered on your own configured system with your own data — not a demo database and not a generic video library.
When You Need It
- Go-live is approaching and the team has only seen a demo.
- The system is live but people are still working in parallel spreadsheets.
- Key staff have left and knowledge went with them.
What You Get
- Training per role: sales, warehouse, finance, management.
- At least one internal owner per area who can answer questions after we’ve gone.
- Written procedures your next hire can be onboarded with.
05 — Service
Process Mapping
We map how you actually work, not how the org chart says you do.
Sessions with the people doing the work to document the real flow — including the workarounds — before a single module is switched on.
When You Need It
- Different departments describe the same process differently.
- Nobody can say where an order actually stalls.
- You want to fix the process, not automate a broken one.
What You Get
- A documented as-is and to-be flow you own.
- The friction points ranked by cost, not by who complained loudest.
- A configuration scope that follows the process instead of the brochure.
06 — Service
Business Automation
Every re-keyed field is a data point you paid for twice.
Automated flows inside and around Odoo — approvals, alerts, scheduled actions, document generation, and integrations with the systems you’re keeping.
When You Need It
- The same data is typed into Odoo and then into something else.
- Approvals sit in inboxes with no record of what’s waiting.
- Month-end is assembled by hand from three exports.
What You Get
- Fewer manual steps, with exceptions raised rather than absorbed.
- Integrations to banking, e-commerce, logistics or your AI layer.
- Reporting that produces itself instead of being compiled.
04 — Editions and Hosting
Two Editions. Three Ways to Run It.
This decision shapes your cost, your upgrade path and where your data physically sits. It should be made on requirements, not on whichever option a partner prefers to resell.
Community
Open source, no licence fee. Self-hosted only. Core modules, extended by the open-source ecosystem, with updates driven by the community.
Suits technically capable teams with straightforward requirements and a preference for owning the stack.
Enterprise
Licensed per user. Adds Studio, mobile apps, advanced accounting, IoT and official support and upgrades from Odoo.
Suits organisations that want supported upgrades and the modules most businesses end up needing.
Odoo Online
Odoo’s own cloud, fully managed.
Fastest to start. No server administration. No custom code or third-party apps.
Odoo.sh
Odoo’s platform-as-a-service, Enterprise only.
Custom modules and Git-based deployment, with managed infrastructure, staging and backups.
Self-hosted
Your infrastructure or your cloud tenancy. Community or Enterprise.
Full control of data location, performance and integrations. You own the maintenance.
05 — How We Implement
Five Stages. The First One Happens Away From the Software.
Document the real process
Sessions with the people doing the work. What runs, what stalls, and which spreadsheet is holding it together. If Odoo isn’t right, we say so here — before anyone has bought a licence.
Modules, edition, hosting
A module map tied to your processes, phased by payback. Edition and hosting chosen on your requirements, not on what’s easiest to resell.
Build against real transactions
Configured and tested with your own data, your own documents and your own edge cases. Customisation only where configuration genuinely can’t reach.
Reconcile, then cut over
Data migrated and reconciled against your closing balances. A go-live plan with a rollback path, because the first week matters more than the demo.
Train, measure, improve
Role-based training on your live system, a baseline metric agreed up front, and reviews at 30, 60 and 90 days to see whether it moved.
06 — Choosing Between Partners
Six Questions Worth Asking Every Partner.
There are a lot of Odoo partners in the UAE and most will show you the same demo. These are the differences that show up in month six — ours are below, and we’d suggest asking anyone you’re comparing us against for the same commitments in writing.
We map before we configure
Most implementations start in the software. Ours starts in the room where the work happens. It costs a week and it prevents the rebuild.
A number attached to every module
Each area we deploy has one measure it is meant to move — quote turnaround, stock accuracy, days to invoice. Agreed before the build, reviewed after.
We’ll tell you when Odoo isn’t the answer
Heavy industry-specific compliance, or a deep existing SAP or Microsoft estate, sometimes makes Odoo the wrong choice. We’d rather say that than sell against it.
The AI layer, from the same team
We build private AI agents on top of Odoo — reading supplier documents, drafting quotations, answering questions from your own records. Few Odoo partners also do that work.
Trained on your data, not a demo
Every session runs on your configured system with your own transactions, so what people learn is what they’ll actually see on Monday.
Documented handover, no lock-in
Configuration decisions, custom code and procedures are written down and left with you. If you replace us, you can. That’s the point.
07 — Questions People Ask
Before You Sign Anything.
What Does an Odoo Implementation Partner Actually Do?
An Odoo implementation partner maps your business processes, configures the platform around them, migrates your data, builds any customisation required, trains your team and supports the system afterwards. The software is available to anyone; the partner’s value is in the configuration decisions, the migration, and whether people end up using it.
Should We Choose Odoo Community or Enterprise?
Community is open source with no licence fee but must be self-hosted and relies on community updates. Enterprise is licensed per user and adds Studio, mobile apps, advanced accounting and official support and upgrades. Most growing organisations end up on Enterprise for the supported upgrade path; technically capable teams with simpler needs can run Community successfully.
What Are the Odoo Hosting Options?
Three. Odoo Online is Odoo’s managed cloud — fastest to start, but no custom code or third-party apps. Odoo.sh is Odoo’s platform-as-a-service for Enterprise, supporting custom modules and Git-based deployment. Self-hosting on your own infrastructure runs either edition and gives full control of data location and performance.
How Long Does an Odoo Implementation Take in the UAE?
A focused deployment covering core modules typically runs six to twelve weeks. Multi-company, multi-currency or heavily customised implementations run longer. The variable that moves the timeline most is not technical — it’s how quickly your team can make decisions about their own processes.
What Does Odoo Cost?
Three parts: Odoo’s own per-user licence if you take Enterprise, hosting, and implementation. Licensing is paid to Odoo directly and depends on user count and plan. Implementation depends on module count and how far your processes differ from Odoo’s defaults. We scope after mapping, because a number quoted before that is a guess.
Can Odoo Be Customised for Our Industry?
Yes, and it usually needs less customisation than people expect. We configure first and customise only where a genuine process can’t be reached otherwise — built as separate modules so version upgrades remain possible. Undocumented customisation is the most common reason an Odoo estate becomes stuck on an old version.
You’re a New Company — Why Choose You Over an Established Partner?
The company is new; the people are not. What we’d point to is method rather than tenure: we map the process before configuring, attach a measure to each module, train on your own data, and document the handover so you could replace us. Ask any partner you’re considering for those four things in writing.

Show Us Your Month-End. We’ll Show You What Odoo Would Change.
Bring the process that takes the longest to close, or the report nobody trusts. We’ll map it, tell you which modules it touches, and give you an honest view of the effort — before anyone talks about licences.
